The scope of Waterford Management's assignments depends on the goals of each respective client. In the past, client mandates have ranged from resolving business succession issues to providing shareholders or estates with liquidity. Waterford Management's involvement has ranged from full representation to special assignments in which the firm was retained for a specific transaction with a previously-identified buyer or investor. When a seller already has identified a buyer, the seller nonetheless benefits from hiring Waterford Management by obtaining an objective view of value, assistance in negotiations and, if appropriate, the identification of additional prospective buyers.
